Capturing Veterans Pride

Gerry Johnson Photography is leading a team to provide free portraits to veterans at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City.  On 4/22/2011 men vets (and family, if desired) can attend a portrait photo session in the Multi-purpose center, have professional makeup and hair styling done and then portraits shot and prints provided on the spot.  On 6/10/2011 this will be repeated for women vets (again with family, if desired).

The focus for this event is to "Capture Veterans Pride" - and, in a small way, provide recognition and acknowledgement to the veterans for the job they have done.

Everything is being provided by volunteers for the event - and if you would like to donate to support the effort, it will be very much appreciated by all.  Photos are printed on the spot and provided to the vets.  Ink for printers, rental lighting and lenses, and photo paper are the primary expenses we are incurring.
